Parking at Motu Moana

I meant to bring this up before, and was remined by another post.

Can we make sure that if you are parking at Motu Moana for the weekend that you go down the road, past the dining hall, and park there first. Once that area is filled up then the parks outside the admin buildings should be used. Or park by the admin buildings if you have to leave during the weekend.

It was kinda annoying having so many cars parked in a sapce that got a lot of play during Teonn when there were about 10-12 spaces past the dining hall. Have that many fewer cars around the admin area would have made a nice difference.

Plus, following this would mean not having cars driving back and forth and trying to squeeze past the cars parked on the side of the road between admin block and dining hall.

There has been some talk on this matter…we’re checking on an alternate parking arrangement for the summer games at the very least…stay tuned.

Super! Not only were the modern cars detracting from the setting, but the combat in a parking lot on Saturday night was made overly-dangerous/complicated by all the vehicles.

If a car is not going to be moved until the end of the weekend, we could actually a couple of rows of cars that are “parked in”, which would increase the number of carparks.

I was hoping that I could park near the administration block so as to use my van as part of a village site for KiL Quest III if I can’t use the covered camp-fire area behind the administration block for my village. :unamused:

Slightly random idea.

If we can get a bunch of cars all parked together (parked in if neccessary) then could we find some large camouflage nets to put over cars? It would reduce the modern look a bit more.

Sounds Cool to me. 8)

There are several campfires, most of which are covered. The one behind the admin block is the largest, but there is also a covered campfire in the forest on the left past the driveway out to the road (heading uphill towards the Inn), and another on the right once you walk up the road past the Inn. Then there is the uncovered one behind and slightly downhill from the Inn. And there is also a small covered one across the road from the Inn, in the clearing that is accessible if you walk down the road a little bit.
