Paddywhack January orders

I’m going to order a shipment from Palnatoke in a couple of days, so if you’d like any of their gear then order through my website now.

The link below shows their weapons and sword holders. They also do bracers and greaves, but I don’t have them on my site just yet:

Also, at the end of January I’ll be ordering a shipment from the distributor for Epic Armoury, from whom I get everything else listed on my site (including the IDV archery stuff). So put through any orders for that too.

Anything that’s in the Epic Armoury catalogue but not on my website yet I can get too. If you have questions or want to order things that aren’t on my website, email ryanpaddywhack@gmail.com

These shipments will be here in February, probably earlier for the Palnatoke stuff.

Is there at 2013 Epic Armory Catalogue coming out?

No mention of one yet.

Epic Armoury release new items throughout the year, and as that happens I’ll list them on my website.

So once I get the site up to date, there will be no need to wait on a new catalogue. Except for the sheer prettiness of course.

So, January is nearly over and I’ll be ordering up a shipment with Epic Armoury at the end of the week. So now’s the time to get any orders in.

Here’s a few examples of the many items they currently have available that might be of interest:

Noble Sword - $136.99 (or $109.59 for NZLARPS members)
Has a nicely detailed hilt with an aristocratic look.

Throwing knife with 3 holes - $11.99 (or $9.59 for NZLARPS members)
Your basic throwing knife, cheap enough to buy a few to throw.

Combat knife - $45.99 (or $36.79 for NZLARPS members)
From the Dark Moon range, suitable for more modern or futuristic games.

Baton - $75.99 (or $60.79 for NZLARPS members)
Another from the Dark Moon range. Great for a historical game and suitable for law enforcement, thugs, etc.

IDV Bow 140cm - $114.99 (or $91.99 for NZLARPS members)
The bow I recommend for larp. Rugged, durable, looks at home with your other larp weapons and fires well.

IDV Arrow - $21.99 (or $17.59 for NZLARPS members)
Larp-safe arrows to go with aforementioned bow.

Potion Holder - 2 Piece - $22.99 (or $18.39 for NZLARPS members)
Slides on your belt, comes with convenient little potion bottles with cork stoppers.

Sword holders - $22.99 (or $18.39 for NZLARPS members)
Sits on your belt, comes in left and right handed and black or brown. Also a range of more detailed versions.

Check out the Paddywhack website for more: leather bags, scabbards, belts, gloves, latex prosthetics and so on. I still don’t have the range of costume and armour that’s available listed, but just let me know if you’re looking for something.

Cheers,

Migh be cutting it close,
but I’ve just sent you a PM.

Thanks
Tim

It’s not too late.

I’ll post here when I’ve put the order through and it’s too late to make an order, probably sometime this weekend.

Order has been made, so now it’s too late.

I’m not ready to put an order in, but wondering, are the leather armour items the only ones you can get? Or can we check out the original sites & request items?

I can get a wide range of stuff including leather and metal armour, I’m just still in the process of loading it into my website. So feel free to make requests of anything from my supplier’s catalogs:

Palnatoke: palnatoke.com/catalog.php

Epic Armoury: epicarmoury.com/catalogue/EE_Cat … web_HD.pdf (82MB PDF)

Drop me an email at ryanpaddywhack@gmail.com and I’ll let you know prices.

The latest shipment left Denmark three days ago. So far it has passed through Germany, France and England.

I’m hoping that it will soon realise it’s going the wrong way, stop sightseeing and get serious about coming to New Zealand.

It seems to have heard me, now it’s suddenly at the sorting facility in Auckland going through customs clearance.

I await my regular conversation with a befuddled official about the nature of the goods with keen anticipation.

I remember those when bringing in metal weapons and armour.

“They’re theatre & film props sir. No, not weapons at all”

I’m going with “Carnival and novelty items” at the moment. It’s true enough and serving me well, except one time when I got probed over leather belts. “What’s a twin belt?” “Um, a leather belt?”. “Oh, so that’s clothes, 5% duty.” Hmm. Next time, it’s part of a novelty costume.

Paddywhack got an overdraft late last year so I can bring in more stock each time. “What are you importing?” asked the bank manager. “Ah, costumes and foam weapons and stuff.” “… ok, costumes, sure.”

Costumes, novelty items, easy to understand. Foam weapons? Bring on the bewilderment. Leather belts? Suddenly I’m a clothing importer.

Actually though, I got the call yesterday and it was just “You have GST to pay on this import.” That’s how I like it.

Gear is here, I’ve let everyone who has ordered things know. Some very pretty stuff in there, and I’ll be updating the stock on my website soon.

If you have ordered stuff and haven’t heard from me, trying emailing or PMing me or something. I prefer email, but I’ve had some sporadic trouble receiving it lately.
