Calling for players for a special one off game set in the middle of the Vampire the Requiem campaign, called New Horizons:
New Horizons is set in modern day Auckland city in the world of darkness, which means its kind of an alternative reality that is identical to this one except a little more dark and populated by supernatural creatures such as vampires, ghosts and others.
On March 27th 2010 there was a Great Revelation, where the vampires of the world revealed their existence to mortals. This was sparked by one vampire accidentaly revealing his abilities in one of the most widely filmed events in the world, when there was an attempt on the Pope’s life during a historic peace mission to the Middle East. This particular vampire used his super speed and strength to stop a suicide bomber heading full speed in a car towards the Pope.
The world is still coming to grips with this revelation, and in New Zealand the first and only vampire to reveal themselves, a woman by the name of Ashley-Dawn Delacroix (Kara), is opening New Zealand’s first Vampire club. The club is named Our Little Secret and the opening night promises to be grand.

SOOO Wanted to go to this, Lily would definitely have been there

I thoroughly enjoyed playing a vampire game in a setting where we actually had to keep the Masquerade. I think more games like this would be great, it adds a real fear of discovery element. Other things that stood out for me were the awesome name badges for the serving staff, the great costumes on the security staff, generally excellent roleplaying, Derek putting on “Mephistopheles’ Return” on the sound system at the climax of the game, but I think my favourite part of it all had to be Patrick’s performance as ‘Count Dracula’.
