Hello

This is an open invitation to any Auckland people who would like to be involved as Role players at what is shaping up to be one of the largest Full Immersion Military Simulation event anywhere this year.

Operation Viking Sword is happening on the weekend of the 3rd-4th-and 5th of december this year, the venue is Whitford forest Whitford in Auckland which will mean camping, start is Friday afternoon and will continue until midday sunday.

I am looking for people to play the following roles:
Refugees
U.N. War Crimes Investgators
War Correspondents
Resistance fighters.
Various other Roles

Role PLayers will need to bring
Sleeping gear
Tents
Food (there is a BBQ planned at the end of the event)
water
Toiletries

Role players do not pay for the game.

Is it just open to Aucklands? 'Cause if I can rake together some travel money, a costume, the other stuff, and maybe a place to crash before and/or after I’d be keen.

Airsoft, RAM or Mixed?

yep Mixed Cal; airsoft, .43 paintball, and .68 paintball, eye protection is mandatory but role players will be kept out of harms way as much as possible.

that does not mean you wont be in the thick of it though you will see plenty of action.

by all accounts this event is going to be awesome.

we are about three weeks out and we are still looking for role players, we need role players for the following roles

UN War Crimes scene investigators: as the name suggests CSI “Bones” type forensic analysts

Embedded Journalists: Either still or Video basically people to shoot footage of the weekend and generally get in the way

Refugees: self explanatory, basically the wandering monsters of this game, refugees will be given different objectives/motivations and feed intel to the troops

Almost a week out from Operation viking Sword the invite to Role players is still open, the event is free, if you don’t want to camp out you can just come for the saturday, we would all love to have you.
