Ongoing work for a skilled leatherworker

Hey folks,

I’m looking for a skilled leatherworker with their own tools and workspace, to produce larp leatherworks that I’ll buy from them and sell to the larp communities in New Zealand and Australia. If they were in Auckland that would be ideal, but anywhere in New Zealand will probably work.

This will provide someone with a nice sideline to their regular work while getting to exercise their art. There’s no need for this person to be a larper, but an interest in historical, fantastic and futuristic leatherwork will help. They’ll need to have some examples of work and I’m looking for someone who can produce beautiful pieces.

The leatherworks will include things like weapon holders, belts, boots, scabbards, quivers, armour and bags. Some will be relatively small simple standard items, others will be complex custom orders made to measure.

Does anyone know someone who would fit the bill? If so, have them contact me at ryanpaddywhack@gmail.com

Cheers,

Ryan

Yo!

Take a look at some of my stuff here:

Cool, I’ll get in touch Peter.

Have a look at this lady:

nadinejaggi.com/

She just came by my work and has more items than currently on her website.

She does beautiful cuffs and bracelets out of leather. And will do custom work.

Probably worth asking her if she’d be interested in this kind of work. She’s been at Weta Workshop so has skillz…

Thanks for the link, she has some lovely work on that site.

I’m already working with Peter Haynes for custom leatherworks. We have a commissioned armour in progress at the moment, and more items planned.

I’ll add photo of the pieces to this page as they’re made:
