Officia 2011 Secret Santa Wishlist thread!

If you’re participating in the Secret Santa, please feel free to post a few modest requests here in case your Santa is stumped.

Please also indicate if you have any allergies/sensitivities (nuts, perfumes, what have you).

Good example:

Dear Santa,

I could use any of the following:

  • Tealight candles
  • A wooden bowl
  • Chocolate
  • A small leather pouch

Please avoid sending me anything with:

  • Peanuts

Bad example:

Dear Santa,

I’d like a new shield, full set of plate, a couple of swords, maybe some new costumes too - come to think of it a cloak would be nice. And a pony.

(You get the idea).

Happy Wish-listing!

Dear Santa:
This year has been really fun, hanging out with friends from all over the country and pretending to be various different people. This year I was a bearded lady, an Astronaught, a blacksmith and a Dragonkin (well I will have been on sunday). I don’t know what next year will bring, but if this year was anything to go by, it will be filled with fun, excitement and new friendships.

This year, I am looking for some things to compliment my Teonn character. He was a bit hard done by in the last game I attended, but i’m glad he still lives. Due to the amount of bandits around, he got his gold stolen, so a nice sturdy pouch to hold it would be handy. Also, with all the scouting he does something to hold drinks would be handy, as his mug isn’t really practical!! Perhaps a wine skin or similar? Also he managed to loose his throwing daggers a few times, something solid that fits to a wide belt and can hold 3 small daggers, and allows him to run along without having to hold them in would be super cool. If you don’t have anything like this available, then a plate, bowl, or cutlery that looks old or medievil would be handy too. Or anything that has a Wolf or Fox on it that could symbolise a “Gift from my ork wife”, that I could use in my story as a momento of sorts.

Many thanks in advance Santa,

Chris, TazzyD, Arikka, Fox.

Dear Santa,

Since I will be gallivanting overseas next year I thought I would ask for something compact to take with me. I like jewelery and hair things, or maybe even a small pouch, as I will definately try embarking on some of the european larps.

Thanks,

Prema

Dear Santa,

A small pouch for my pirate treasure would be lovely, or a necklace or hair thing of some kind (I can’t wear earrings and bracelets annoy me). Purple or black would be good, as those are the colours my Teonn character wears. Old looking cutlery would also be most welcome.

I don’t eat a lot of chocolate, but no tube of Pringles is safe from me.

Thank you, Santa

Ellen

Dear Santa,

Silvery, glittery, shiny things are very appealing. Or, while sadly very unshiny, a wooden dinner plate would be fabulous as I have had no luck at all in my local opshops.

Chocolate is also lovely.

Thank you very much,
Zephy (Kara)

Dear Santa,

If at all possible Deedee could really use a holster for her gun or Story might find some old looking cutlery handy or Michelle is rather fond of things with cute skulls, pretty much anything to do with vampires and of course chocolate is always appreciated (especially mint choc  ) but please don’t give me anything with coffee or marshmellows or washed in lemon scented washing powder cause they don’t like me or anything pink cause I can’t stand the color

THANK YOU!

Deedee / Story / Michelle

Dear Santa,

If at all possible my teonn character Amalthea the ice elemental would love anything in white or blue, anything with an ice motif or a new pouch or any feasting gear. Apart from that, chocolate is always a welcome surprise as is most things sweet.

Thankyou!

Nicole/Amalthea

To the anthropomorphic personification known colloquially as Santa,

I would like some sort of container that is able to hold various papers, quills and cash if at all possible. Failing that a money pouch that doesn’t need to hang off a belt or a mug for mead or other liquids…

Yours,
Lord Hudson/Joe Outram

Dear Santa,
I would love a nice quill - or even just a nice feather which I could conceivably convert. That, or some in-character looking (for Medieval/Fantasty games) Cutlery.

Yours friendishly,
Dave.

Dear Santa,

Although I’m not larping much at the moment I do have a medieval viking persona that I try to attend medieval events as when time allows it. If you found a game that could be transported in a pouch with game pieces and a cloth board that could be used in quiet times at events that would be lovely. I could use a nice belt carry pouch for money and keys. Otherwise I am partial to pretty shiny beads and chocolate goodies

Kindest regards,
MissMenolly aka Karen aka Lady Alana the Traveller

Dear Hanukkah Hank,

This Holiday season what I would really like is any leafy jewelry for Talthariel, a satachel that is either green or brown… and fabric in the before mentioned colours, or cutlery and stuffs for Teonn… Larger sizes of leather scraps would be nice yet again brown or green… snack wise anything yummy and gluten free will always be appreciated

Sincerely Brooklynne

Dear Santa,

I’ve been a good girl this year so I could do with with a good medieval style belt (quite a large one needed unfortunately…), a cloak pin, any leather or fabric pieces that I can work with or a wineskin type thing!

Thanks!

Dear Santa,

I’ve tried (but mostly failed) to be a good boy this year, better luck next year eh…

Saying that I’d be delighted with any small trinket, or possession that may have been picked up or meant something to any of the following.

A British field medic from the late 1930’s

A somewhat fool hardy Viking

A Beastman or Satyr

Or chocolate, I lurve chocolate

Thanks,

Bryn.

Dear Santa

I am pretty easy to please, pretty much anything larp related (I will give some examples of different things, but go with what feels right):
Trinkets and odds and sodds work well, pouches, bottles, things to make stories around.
On that matter, letters, documents and Maps…feel free to make up names, and drama
Simple peasant clothes

The characters I am playing are a fantasy Elven Pirate, a World War 2 British Soldier, a Greek King, A steam punk ???

Although Santa I know you might not be very crafty and might want something simple. So a simple solution, a second hand book, something that you enjoyed at some stage in your life or heard good things about.

Thanks

Dear Santa,

I’m still new at this LARPing thing really, and so need pretty much everything. Some kind of medieval-ish waterskin that I can put my powerade into would be awesome, or a belt, or belt pouches, or even a not-modern looking set of cutlery.

Failing that, chocolate covered coffee beans in quantities of 1 to a million would always be useful!

Thanks bigfatjollydude

Matt

Dear Santa,

As you know, ive started this amazing thing called Larp this year. Its been very exciting and fun. I have met so many new people.

I dont have a lot of things but the thing i did notice was i didnt have anything to put stuff in. I would really like a pouch or something to put my important OOC things like my phone etc in. Any kind of jewelrey would also be appreciated. Basically anything that would be helpful. (If you have maybe any old swords or weapons you are no longer using, I would love one of them as i have no weaponry yet), Hmmm wat else well wooden cutlery or plates or a suitable cup etc are great too. Basically anything you find helpful and think i could do with . Lucky im so new.

Its best not to give me food as i have many allergies.

Thanks anad Merry Christmas

Love Luisa

From Zane

Dear Santa,
As I’m sure you know, my CHARACTERS have tried to be good but often failed… Don’t hold that against them.

As for me, I’m sure your little spies know all about… uh… nothing! Nothing at all! The noodle incident wasn’t my fault!

Ahem.

Anyhoo…

Since my latest character has had his punishment/reward in the form of death, I’m currently looking around for another one.

I’m quite keen on little items like small jewelry, brooches, that kind of thing that can be given character significance.

Since I will be making a couple more costumes, I love buttons. Cool looking buttons. Metal for preference. About the size you would put on a waistcoat. Or on a jacket.

Drinking vessels are awesome!

Sealing wax is always cool.

So yeah, thanks Santa!
