October Committee Meeting - Wednesday 14th October

Hello everybody,

The nzLARPS Committee for 2009-2010 is having their first meeting this Wednesday and all interested society members are cordially invited to attend.

Agenda to follow tonight but it will include such things as making a year plan, developing the society’s IT assets, setting an SGM to finish setting up regional support, and larp safety regulations. It’s a big meeting to kick off what will hopefully another big year in milestones and progress in developing larping in New Zealand, so if you have something you want to say or to see happen, come along and say your piece. The society belongs to all of us :slight_smile:

throw in an apology from me for not attending, got the flu and im pretty sure it’s uncouth to gallivant about spreading it.

I was planning on going tonight, but it seems I have a touch of pleurisy, so am at home hoping it gets better before saturday.

We regret not having you guys there :slight_smile: I hope you’re healthy and well for the next meeting!

The committee met this evening and had a long and I feel very positive and productive meeting regarding our thoughts on what we can do to improve larp and nzLARPS in the next year. Rowena will have the minutes up in the next few days.

If anyone wants to be involved in helping but doesn’t quite know what to contribute or where to start, I recommend attending a meeting/reading the minutes and finding out what we are working on and sticking your hand up. We never have a shortage of ideas, we only have a shortage of hands. There is a great buzz in the community now of making things happen, so let’s ride the wave and make this another awesome year :slight_smile:
