President’s report:

This year, the national committee was successful in re-registering with the new constitution. IRD has communicated with us, that we need to make a small amendment to the constitution however, which is a motion we’ll be voting on tonight.

Having a reduced committee has been challenging. Despite this, larping remains a growing hobby in post-covid Aotearoa.

In financial year 2026, NZLARPS has made a net profit of $4,652.12 . This is up from a $3,071.76 net profit in the previous financial year.

For any keen beans, this year’s Balance Sheet and P&L are attached to review before today’s AGM.

IT officer report:

Not a lot to report on this year, standard maintenance and upkeep was done to keep the website ticking along.

Happy to support the next IT Officer in any way I can in the coming year.

Marketing Officer report:

  • Started a small Instagram account and established a visual aesthetic standard for National’s limited social media presence
  • Begun publishing a small series of LARP phrases/terms explained on that Instagram which is ongoing
  • Initiated a nation-wide request for regional game info so we could support games across the country, though that has not yielded many results as of yet.
  • started work on a national larp tracking document in collaboration with IT

I am also happy to use my OTHER committee experience as secretary to assist the new National Committee secretary in any capacity I can during the onboarding process.
