We wanted to let you know about an event coming up 3rd-4th December in Wellington.
This is SmofCon South, a convention about running conventions.

This is all part of the New Zealand in 2020 WorldCon bid.
At SmofCon South we will learn about how a WorldCon works. But also, we know that many people here have run large events. So we of course need your expertise and commitment. We would love your voice at this event.
New Zealanders are great at winging it.
In fact, we’re fantastic at it. Even known for it as a national trait.
And no one but no one can think faster on their feet than a LARPer. 
But pre-planning makes for a great LARP, as it does for a great convention.
We are planning for an event four years out and trying to make sure that all our ducks are in a row.
