Need a new job? Are you a nice person who enjoys internets?

The company I work for (kiwilink) is currently looking for someone to join our team. We are a small ISP with a focus on customer support and not being big and crappy.

Recently myself and the other customer support guy have been under a very large amount of work due to projects that we are currently running, thus we need someone to join us. They would be on a customer support role, so the main objective is to make sure that all customers are happy. You should have at least some technical knowledge and be able to pick things up well, but more importantly, you should like dealing with people.

The technical knowledge you would need is answers to questions like:

“What is my domain name?”
“How can I set up my new email address?”
“I can’t send emails”
“Why is my current ISP so shit?”

Anything outside of that you can learn, and me and Greg will be around as second level support should you get stuck. The most important part of your knowledge is a good ability to troubeshoot, we don’t expect you to know that error 619 on a dialup connection is incorrect username or password, but you’ll pick that up pretty quick :-/

Day to day tasks would be answering phone calls, replying to emails, tracking new connections and general stuff like that. If you have PHP knowledge and the like that would be wicked as we often have little jobs that jump up, but really isn’t required as part of the role.

We would like to think we are a good environment to work in, we are in a lovelly little villa in Epsom/Remurea with a current team of 4-6 people (depending on the day).
