Movie Night

OK on Monday the 8th Id like to invite everyone over for a movie night at my place (the Barracks), starting at about 6pm.

I have just recently aquired a big TV and its time to rectify my lack of movie seeing. So please feel free to come and stay the night, bring your PJ’s and a pillow and sleeping bag.

Bring junk food and bring any DVD’s that you think may be worth watching.

Please PM me if you are planning to stay the night.

Hmm that’s a good idea. Shame I can’t some, although I have a very large collection of DVDs that people may wish to borrow from (anime, various films, British TV comedy, classics…)

I may resurrect the idea of doing an Anime video day or something - I now have Howls Moving Castle on DVD in my Ghibli collection and its excellent.

I love Studio Ghibli! Shame you cant come but Ill definately be doing more movie nights

and i (my family) have a load more so i’ll see what i can bring over.

(I’ll be staying in the middle of town, is it possible for me to hitch a ride with someone?)

Ill find out, i dont have a dvd player yet Im borrowing my flat mates. If anyone wants to bring a multi purpose dvd or video player they are welcome to.

Neat, I dont mind if people come and go, but Im trying to get my hands on some mattresses (sp?) to put on my floor so that we can do a proper all night movie session.

If its going to be an all night thing i can bring an espresso machine.

(I did a week of work exp at starbucks back in the days of high school and that taught me that i dont want to work in the fast food industry.)

I can bring my VCR if people want to bring videos…I may even be able to find my old Beta tape player (dont feel out of the loop if you have NO idea what this is)…all we’ll need now is a 8mm and 16mm projector and a laserdisc player and we’ll be able to play almost anything anyone has :stuck_out_tongue:…

But I’m serious about the VCR :smiley:
