Model wanted

I wish to build some cuirboilli (hardened leather) armour for an attractive young lady. I want to make a complete suit, that looks like armour and not like the bondage suit / bikini typical of fantasy artwork. I envisage 75% plus body coverage.

If you are an attractive young lady, who also has long legs and a slim waist, or know of one who may be interested in this, please get in touch with me.

I would retain ownership of the armour, but you’d be able to borrow it for extended periods if you wanted to go larping in it or wear it to costume parties etc. I can’t afford to hire a model for this, so you’d have to be happy with having a cool suit of armour to borrow as payment

As I intend this armour to be very well fitted, it would be necessary for you to be there for much of the manufacturing process. I am intending to put 60-100 hours into this single suit of armour working on Monday and/or Tuesday evenings. I would prefer to work mostly at my home in Albany, but for some of the work this could be elsewhere if you don’t mind lots of small pieces of leather offcuts on your floor…

At least part of the reason for making this armour is because I want some photographs for advertising, so you’d also have to be happy with photos being taken and posted on websites etc…

Uh… I’ll take the photos?

Cheers

Hrmm. I might be able to do this. Currently busy on Mondays and Tuesdays, but when I (hopefully) start uni next semester my Mondays will free up.
Albany isn’t awfully convenient for me, as I live in Penrose. Perhaps we could use Craig’s place =P since it’s central.
I’m only 165 cm, so my legs aren’t all that long.

Thanks for considering this. I’d love to meet you and I’ll write a proper reply when I don’t have friends over for dinner!

Er, it’s Juliet here, Derek.

I can do some small parts of this away from my workshop. But much of the the armouring requires tools like a gas BBQ, boiling wax, and 10 different types of hammers, anvils, logs of wood etc.
