• Someone, probably Craig because he’s best at it: make NZLARPS fancy brochure for medieval shop and others.
• Discussion of what to do with Mordavia brand. Domain name & website, game-specific props with sentimental value, possible future fundraising, keeping the community together and onto the next adventures.

Motion to accept the previous meeting’s minutes proposed by Adam, seconded by AJ and passed unanimously.
Financial Update from Steve: The Society is making money, nothing running at a loss other than the Society itself. Mordavia made a bigger profit than expected, discussions of needing another ‘cash cow’. Steve still working through all the finances. Costume library needs expanding. Discussion of applying for funds.
Motion to buy a trailer proposed by Mike, seconded by Steve. Six for, one against. Motion passed.
ACTION POINT: Adam to look into and apply for a Lions grant for a trailer.
ACTION POINT: Mike to research trailers.
Steve still waiting for cash and actuals from Lucy’s Pirates game. Nikki to give cash and actuals from Sanctuary and Endgame to Steve.
Previous Larps:
Stargate – high roleplaying game, went well, fantastic, huge profit, the radios now work (with the exception of two channels, one of which is an emergency channel and the other is used by a taxi company)
Mordavia – “Wow”
Upcoming Larps:
Skirmish – January and December are out, but game scheduled for late February.
Og: Next game scripted but a GM needed to run it.
SAIL: Logistical problems continue. Likely to run later in 2007 than anticipated.
Stargate: Fun game planned for 10th February to be run by Nikki. Potential weekend game in the works.
Nibelungen: Weekend game set, website to be launched, invitations are being sent out.
Ravenholme: Day game set for January 9th, weekend game scripted and being organised for March.
No Man’s Land: Marc has been busy but is intending to get back into it this month.
Unity: Finding venue.
Magazine
Secret title to be unveiled with the printing. To be printed in black and white with glossy cover and back. Community postage applications are shut for this year but are planning to apply next year. Discussion of selling back cover as advertising. Advertising affiliates for free in black and white inside the magazine itself.
Motion by Adam to accept the magazine as a project, seconded by Nikki, passed unanimously.
Venue Wiki – Post Nibelungen project for Craig. Searching for a server.
Venue Catalogue – Nikki continues to work on it.
Fancy Brochure Advertising – Discussion resulted in agreement that nzLARPS is best promoted by its games and therefore it’s wiser to advertise single games rather than the Society itself.
The Mordavia Brand – Auctioning off unique game items at the afterlarp? (i.e. the essence stones) Packaging the Mordavia product to sell overseas – copyright issues, talk to Ryan before anything further is decided/discussed.
Other Business
Battlecry 2007 – Is it worth trying again? Anna to liaise with Karen.
Diatribe – Personal attacks arising from rules debates a concern, Diatribe can seem unwelcoming, Nikki to become a moderator.
