Someone told me about this website, and it occurred to me that it might be an excellent place for NZLARPs to advertise. I believe signing up is free and you pay an annual fee if you want to host a group on there.
There are also plenty of other interesting groups on the website for those who are interested.
It’s something we’ve considered but never gone through with.
Someone would need to volunteer to keep it up to date with upcoming events, especially those suitable to new players. That’s actually the main catch, given that we have so many other outlets already.
Groups are region specific, so you could have an “Auckland Live Action Role Playing” group, but not one for the whole of NZ.
It may make the most sense for each branch of NZLARPS to consider whether they would like one, as another way of bringing new people into larp in their region.
Looks like it would cost around $30 per year for each group.
