My name is José Barbosa, I’m a journalist based in Auckland and I do a bunch of stuff for http://pantograph-punch.com/ which is an NZ arts and culture site mainly based on long form essays.
This year we’ve got some money from NZoA to create short videos which will compliment written pieces. I’ve pitched the idea of a video piece about cosplay, potentially following a person or persons who are entering the cosplay competition at Armageddon, backed up with a written interview or possibly an article written by someone about the art and culture cosplay. I’m genuinely interested in showcasing the art of cosplay and the community around it.
I know this is a LARP forum, but Craig Neilson suggested I try here, so I assume there’s some crossover.
