I went to watch the 48hour movie thing tonight because my brother and his friends had entered a film (they were awesome, and the youngest ever I believe) and I thought that maybe next time some people from NZLARPS could enter a film - as a society we have access to costumes, actors/actresses, and people who make storys (ie game masters), and Im sure somewhere out there is someone able to wield a camera and do editing. The cost is $150 I think, and you are given a list of things which must be in the movie, along with a genre for it. I thought it would be a cool way of getting advertising for the society if it sponsered a film such as this.
Yeah, there are a few members of the group that already are part of teams, myself included. If we could pull these people away from their current allignances, then we would be sweet.
My little brother is a reasonably accomplished sound tech.
