Leather for free!

I have a couple of bags of soft leather scraps that are suitable for making small things like pouches, gloves, etc.
Given that I can’t lug it all overseas with me, I’m issuing an invite to the community to come along on Sunday 18th April after midday to either help themselves to some leather and run or stay for a bit of an informal leather sewing bee. The date isn’t totally fixed just yet, but will let you all know if it does change.
If you’re going to hang around and do some stitchin’, I suggest you bring something for everyone to nibble on/drink, so we can make a real afternoon of it.
I’ll have a few special leather working things around, but if you have anything like an awl, waxed thread, knife, etc, please bring that.

See you all there!

:frowning: I really would love to come. I’d love to have some leather stuff for costuming… I have rehearsal on sundays however…

I am totally keen, I have an exam the next day, but hey, everyone needs a break right?

And indeed, studying the very day before an exam is counter-productive

I tried telling that to my teachers for years, and the refused to listen

Definitely this Sunday, turn up any time after ten. PM me if you don’t know the address.
yay!
