LARPing TVNZ - a Question for the Committee

Hi all,

Firstly, please redirect this thread elsewhere if this isn’t the appropriate place - I’m not entirely sure where this should go.

In short, my mother works for TVNZ and is involved in producing a new drama where one of the main characters is a larper. A few scenes in their first episode are based at a medieval larp, and it was suggested that for authenticity (and to cut down costs) they could potentially get a bunch of Auckland larpers to come along as extras in their own costumes.

Filming would be next year some time, and there would likely be some kind of gratuity to those who helped out - be it a small voucher for each person, or possibly more usefully, money for NZ larps to use for the good of everyone.

Clearly most of the details have still to be sorted out, but at the moment South Pacific Pictures is looking for an appropriate contact, and I think someone from NZlarps would be best. Would you be able to nominate such a person, or direct me to the appropriate place for this discussion?

At least once? Pretty please?
