Squeeeee!

I placed 2nd in our category with Beth St Claire modelling and Anna Klein assisting. Thank you so, so much to both of you! I can’t say enough how awesome you were. Beth you move like a dream on stage and brought the art to life better than I imagined, and Anna you kept me sane and could always find the things I lost right in front of my nose. No other team in the event was entertained by Shakespearean monologues during the preparation. :smiley:

Huge congratulations too, to the other larptastic team in the event, Yuli Heled, with Vanya Essin modelling. 3rd place! Wheeee! It was great fun to be on the opposite side of the table from you. Really lovely work, Yuli. See you again next year. :slight_smile:

Also, the team from Belgium who made such a stunning design that I feel it was a travesty that it didn’t place… are also larpers! I tried to get them to come along to Teonn, but they aren’t here that long.

Sorry for being the foreigner, but what’s the New Zealand Body Art awards? =S.
Congratulations by the way, to all those who did well (and good, and great, and awesome)
Also, if those people from belgium are from the northern part, tell them “Hallo” for me XD. (Because Belsch(?) people from the north of Belgium (the flemish part) talk dutch too =D)

We’ve got Google in New Zealand too :wink:

The New Zealand Body Art Awards is an annual competition in New Zealand whereby entrants have eight hours to turn a person into an amazing piece of art using bodypaint, prosthetics and other special ! There are heaps of different categories depending on what medium you’re using. Kara and Yuli were both in the handpainted category so they used body paints to turn their models into moving pieces of art.

I prefer to ask people over going to google for some reason… But anyway, that looks pretty awesome =D (for the art aspect, not because of the nudity aspect (not that it’s a bad thing >.> <.< >.>))
And on the front page, some of those things look awesome! And you became second in that!? You must be really good XD.
