I like their physical combat system - all the pushes look great and couldn’t hurt too much. I’d be up for trying that out some time.
All the NPCs seem to die really dramatically too. Good on them I say!
Obviously the death-rate shown here isn’t sustainable in dramatic stuff. But Skirmish could easily look like this.
We need a German speaker to translate their combat rules for us.
I think it’s kind of like “if you are not one of the heroes you die as dramatically as possible. You are allowed to do anything you want as long as it doesn’t hurt people very much.”
Their whole game can’t look like this tightly edited video, it’s unsustainable.
The rules appear to be:
- Everyone is trained in stunt fighting
- All NPCs have 1 HP, all PCs have unlimited HP
- Everyone needs to display maximum stunts when taking a hit
It would be fun to do, but I don’t think you could call it a game as such.

Me too! But who would be my cannon fodder? Oh wait, nobody. 
The NPCs aren’t necessarily dead. They just take dramatic spills when hit. I’d NPC such a thing assuming I got a go at PCing as well.
Ahh we do… remember the display team in the sword club. not to this level of acrobatics of course.
A lot of it is staged and pre-choreographed, they are a well drilled group, but they are all hitting marks for the camera a little to accurately for it to be unrehearsed, I really dont think it is a game.
We could do something like this as a publicity thing for larping, but it would take a lot of work and practice, which removes it a bit from the Game/Role Playing aspect.

Exactly right. It’s all rehearsed it’s just a trailer for their game designed to show it off and look really cool.
