Larp sitcom

Well, it had to happen one day

This short video on youtube is S01E00 with the series launching proper on March 10th.

I thought it had legs. Just remember, sitcoms are about unrealistic behaviour rooted in a believable setting. Sure, it sends up the participants - but so did MAS*H - it’s how they generate the comedy of the situation.

Love it!

Looks interesting. Will definitely keep an eye on it.

This looks bloody cool. I think “Oh man, are we about to fuck up Noctus?” seems like a pretty good summary of a lot of the games I’ve played lately.

I feel sad for them.

“We could really use a fourth player”

That’s a really teeny larp.

Still, kudos for trying even with such small numbers. Must require some very inventive writing to make the game work. I did like the corruption-causing-artifact idea.

I really enjoyed that first pilot episode. Have subbed and will be waiting for more

Hello! Thanks so much for linking to our Episode 0! We really appreciate it, and we hope we can do the worldwide LARP community right with this series.

(You’re right that it’s a small LARP—hopefully the spirit is still there!)

Awesome to see interest from our cousins in New Zealand—here in frigid Montreal, we salute you!

Thanks for dropping by !

The thing I like about your sitcom is that it’s not the larping that is funny, it’s how they are larping.

Fully looking forward to the upcoming episodes !

BTW, if your script has a bit where the players make a Pilgrimage to Middle Earth, I think we may be able to help out…

You make an incredibly tempting offer!

You’re absolutely right about where we’re trying to derive humour. We know that LARPing is an amazing hobby, but just like any other activity, sometimes the people who do it can be funny in their own way.
