Knutepunkt Larp-writer Challenge

[quote]Knutepunkt 2013, in association with Fantasiforbundet, is pleased to announce the Knutepunkt Larp-writer Challenge. The Larp-writer Challenge is looking for short, re-runnable and manuscript-based larps that can be played without the original author(s) present.

Rules
The game must be playable in a seminar room.
The recommended number of players of the games should be in the range 5 - 25. The games should be flexible in terms of being playable by a different number of participants.
The game should be possible to organize within a small budget.
The game should be suitable for first time larpers.
We encourage the inclusion of warm-up exercises and debrief methods in the manuscripts.
The game should have an expected duration of maximum 4 hours (including participant preparation and debrief).
The game must be written in or translated to English.
The manuscript has to involve some new creative work.

Submission
The deadline for submissions is the 28th of February, 2013
If you want to submit a contribution the Knutepunkt Larpwriter Challenge, please send a notification to knutepunkt2013[at]gmail.com. We will reply with your candidate number, which shall be used in the manuscript when you submit it.
Do not include your name in the manuscript itself, only your candidate number. This will ensure that when the manuscript is forwarded to the jury, they will not be able to tell who has written what manuscript.

The Jury
The Jury will consist of 4 persons, representing the Knutepunkt/ Knudpunkt/ Knutpunkt/
Solmukohta countries, who have had experience writing and running short larps. Finalist games will be run at Knutepunkt or Week in Oslo before the jury’s final decision.

Reward for the winner
Honor and glory, with announcement at the opening ceremony at Knutepunkt 2013.
Run of the larp at Knutepunkt 2013.
Participation and travel expenses covered for participation at Grenselandet 2013, with a run of the larp there.[/quote]
