Hi wonderful community,
Apologies if this is already a thread somewhere and I’ve missed it…
I just wanted to ensure we had a thread to link up all the wonderful Wellingtonians who have places and spaces available with all the Aucklanders and out of towners coming to KapCon and looking for a place to stay. It would be fantastic if we could match those looking for a bed/floor space with those who have a spare bed/floor space.
I’ll start by saying my room/office will have 1 x single spare bunk and floor space for 1 more mattress or air bed (possibly space for 2 spare air beds if I’ve moved house by then). Free to a good home or the homeless…though preferably the KapCon visiting homeless, not the general Wellington homeless, not that I have anything against Wellington’s homeless, I’d just rather they weren’t living in my room (how can you say that without sounding horrible???) I give up. I’m a horrible person…with at least one bed and one space to spare so please let me know if you’d like it! I’m kind of on the boundary of Thorndon/Northlands just down from the Botanic Gardens so a 25 min walk to town (or bus to KapCon which is one or two suburbs over from town).
