Ok so I got to thinking about how some peeps have said going to the uk would be fun etc.

I was considering organising a visit to the uk next year (2010) and was considering the possibility of taking a load of peeps over there for a bit of a laugh.

We could rent a house for a few weeks while we are overthere and do all the touristy stuff in london and perhaps gate crash a few UK larps. If we went in August we would miss the lousy weather in NZ and catch the best of the uk’s summer (tho “best” is relative).

Post thoughts / intrest below and we can sort stuff out. I would be going so you would have a local to guide you through london etc.

I’ve got nothing against the idea, although I’d be surprised if you found many people who want also can go.

But isn’t August Chimera month? :stuck_out_tongue:

yea 2010 would mean we can plan for chimera early in august and hit the late month larps (they are usually around the 25th) :smiley:

I’m thinking of planning a trip to that general area of the world, but it would definitely be in the summer holidays (currently studying, and will be for the next 6 years)

I gather the big UK events take a break over their winter/our summer, but there may be some smaller ones running.
