Periodic table element 88 is radium.

…which is unpleasantly radioactive, but was sold by quacks at the time as having health benefits. It was also used to paint glow-in-the-dark watch-faces, until the people who painted them started dying of radiation poisoning.

There’s plenty of stuff in there to riff off e.g. radium solution is “A cure for the Living Dead”. Its an actual advertising slogan, but you could make it literal. “End your zombie problem today with Aramanium! The only element guaranteed to cure the Living Dead! Just spray our patented Aramanium solution around your house, and watch them keel over like the corpses they are!”

Yeah, I knew it was Radium, but didn’t know those other facts! I went and found a periodic table that had the dates the various elements were discovered, and poached the Curies…
