We should try to reach out to some Aussie larpers. They have quite a vibrant culture of freeform larps at conventions, I gather. And flights are often cheap enough that visiting each other’s cons might be doable.
A very strong tradition. And while we hear a lot from Scandanavia, there seems to be very little about Aussie freeform on the web. Cultural exchange would be useful.
I met a guy down at KapCon this year who was from Christchurch and had a lot of South Island contacts and Australian contacts. I still have his email somewhere, it might be worth getting in touch. Hopefully he will be at KapCon again this year (I understand he’s a regular?) and I can have another chat to him then.
