Improv drama session for LARPers

The newly-formed Live Action Roleplaying Society (LARPS) is running a improvisational drama evening for larpers in Auckland.

This self-improvement session will be taught by an experienced improv drama treacher, and will focus on characterisation in an improvisational medium such as larp.

This is a good opportunity to learn some theatre skills that may help you play your larp characters more convincingly.

Organiser: Lucy Telford, LARPS Community Officer
Contact: lucyfur@gmail.com, 638-4332, 021-532-370
Payment: $10 (preferably in advance)
Time: Tuesday 4th Oct 2005, 6pm-9pm.
Location: A guide hall in Mt Eden, address to follow

Post here or get in touch with the organiser, Lucy, if you’re interested. Beginners to larp and to improv are more than welcome.

The maximum size of the session is 25 people.

Please note you do NOT have to be a member of the new society to take part in this workshop.

It should be a great night - post your interest here and book your place.

This is tonight. Get in touch with Lucy if you’re keen and haven’t already talked to her.

Thanks everyone, was a barrel of fun.

Yep, that just left me wanting to do more of this kind of thing.

More detail, more techniques, more feedback, different excercises.

More.

I’m SO in if there’s more, seeing as I screwed up my dates with the last one and ended up missing it. Headdesk[/color]
