Contributions of Writing
I always welcome articles regarding larp and the larping life. These articles could cover such aspects as costuming tips, roleplaying tips and experiences, larp theory, discussion of aspects of rules and so on. Please contact me to discuss your idea and article length (generally, article sizes come in increments of 500 words). The deadline for content is November 22nd.
Want to write about costuming?
This issue is a special on costuming for larps - from beginner’s to more advanced armouring and make up effects. If you’ve to got a special talent/knowledge in any area of larp costuming, we want to hear from you. Specifically, we’re keen for articles on:
- Beg, borrow, or steal - great ideas for improvising larp costume on a shoestring budget
- Beginner’s Guide to Medieval and Fantasy Costume
- Beginner’s Guide to 20th Century Costume
- Shields/Armour/Weapons
- Cool Make Up Effects (fake piercings! scars! tattoos! change your skintone without looking like an escapee from the clutches of a bad facepainter!)
Artist
Immersion is seeking people who can draw grayscale illustrations to a brief to supplement our existing artist. Apply within. We are also seeking someone is competent at using Photoshop, with a passion for design, a very high standard of work and the ability to follow a brief and meet a deadline, to work as a backup for our existing and often overloaded current graphics whiz.

The back cover of Immersion will once more be auctioned off on Diatribe. The auction will start on October 13th and finish midnight November 1st.
Mailout Packages
Immersion is mailed out in packages to all members of nzLARPS and all our affiliates. It is an excellent medium to use to promote your game or larp related product/service. If you’d like to include a flier, rulebook or business card, please contact me to discuss printing prices by no later than December 1st.
