Address for those that don’t know is:

What annoys me about Heroes is the totally linear narrative. The story couldn’t be told any way other than the viewer just not knowing what’s going to happen next, but the writers seem to laugh at you because they DO know. It makes it less like “woah, that was a genuine surprise!” and more like “stop spoon-feeding me this plot.”

Perfect example: the comic book.

as a person who has spoilt the suprise for herself and watched the entire 1st season. i do reccomend watching it also. It something a bit different. but it still has the classic “i have a un-explained power, how do i function in society” element to it. The later eposides are more exciting (in my opinion) than the first few, so don’t be put off okay!!

I’m gonna pass on it and just get myself the 2nd half of the 3rd season of the 4400 (an awsome series)…plus heros is on at the same time as mythbusters :frowning:

Its not LARP but I liked it.
WHY DO i LIKE IT? Its a comic translating to the smallscreen but without bulk cheeseness.
Its been compared to LOST but this is somewhat more upbeat.
And not since Xfiles went weird or Xena finishedhave I actually wanted to watch a TV program.
My pet turtle who I found at work walking down the asphalt is now asleep, underwater, as he always sleeps.

Hmm. I had a running score in my head - plus for interesting camera angles, minus every time I had to turn off my brain, minus when a Humorous Foreign Guy showed up, plus when he actually turned out to be humorous, plus very lovable, plus when the gory bits showed up, minus when etc.

So far it adds up to me wanting to see it next week. We shall see.

The annoying thing is - 100% chance they’ll save NY from the explosion. It’d be soooo much better if they all found out about it, phoned the CIA/FBI/police etc and the bomb went off killing millions.

That’s be an excellent start to the series…

There are plenty of disaster movies that start that way.

There is the movie called the Miracle Mile, (as seen at the movie night the other week). i cannot say what happens as i was just about to because that would destroy the movie if you at all wanted to see it.

Well, it was a good night and we ended up liking the series so much we watched it all the way up to episode 11 because my brother brought his computer over and plugged it into my TV.

It was great, we were up till 6:30 this morning watching Heroes.
