Can I please suggest to the nzLarps committee that they get a few people to go shopping for latex masks for general larping use? It’s Halloween and there is never a better time to get them. The Warehouse has a very comprehensive selection of masks starting at about $8 and Geoffs Emporium on Dominion Rd also has dozens of new masks in.
I have to agree, it is the best time. Geoff’s is a wonderful time around Halloween. I normally get a few props around then. I have to say now that I think of it, some of them have yet to be used. I shall use the cobwebs, one day.

Do we wait until after Hallowe’en when everything’s on sale? Or is everything so cheap that we don’t even need to?

say, why did nzlarps not reply to this, plus Halloween is coming up once again in 2009. i still get that discount.
Not sure why they didn’t reply, but Gaffy & Vanya did get half a dozen or so masks at Halloween time last year. We can discuss at meeting next Wednesday if ther are more things ot get this year.
ill get in contact with my contact at Geoffs b4 Wednesday to see what kind of stuff they are ordering in.

I know exactly where to get them Adam, A Place just off queen St. Victoria St East, past Whitcoulls. There is a store there which very much like geoffs, is a larpers heaven. Its called Look Smart or something like that. Its got lots of cool stuff there and Im pretty sure I saw skeleton hand gloves there
Is that just black gloves with flat white skeleton painted image - or the gloves with bone shaped plastic on the outside?
Look Smart is very cool though we are yet to see if they will get in bulk Halloween gear for Halloween.
i remember last year i got my skeleton gloves from Geoffs but they were just cotton, if you want decent ones that keep your hands warm (for when you’re stumbling about in wellington like a punk rock girl) you need to try www.dracinabox.com
