Grimm - Anyone been watching it?

Some great Dark fairytale characters on this show. Called collectively Wesen.

One of my favourite is the Damonfeuer
Some might be useful for flagship writers if Chimera flagship is still fairytale based. Sorry i’ve been a bit absent of late, but very keen to do some more Larping.
Anyway, If you haven’t seen “Grimm” yet, this is a list of some of the more interesting beasts/wesen

Damn it…

Adds yet another series to his schedule.

It’s basically a detective show with fairy tale monsters. I was… underwhelmed.

Yeah, I’m with you there Naomi, it’s the reason I didn’t start following it from the beginning but a well of ideas, even if Hollywood, is still a well of ideas.

True.

Once Upon a Time is good, if you aren’t already watching it. Rumpelstiltskin is… amazing.

LOVE Once Upon A Time

Give Grimm another chance. It is actually rating pretty high with most cult fans, and is sure to be renewed. Admittedly the first couple of episodes had some less interesting moments. But it does get better. Some really good moments.

I love him too. He’s marvelously complex. I’m enjoying the show quite a lot and I love the take they have on each fairy tale and how the characters fit together.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with Grimm. I watched 14 episodes of it, and there’s other things I could have watched instead. But it is a fairly straight forward procedural crime show. Instead of humans, all the bad guys are fairy tale monsters, but it doesn’t get much more complex than that
. Or at least it hasn’t so far. The culprits could be aliens, and the show would tell the same story.

I think my opinion of Grimm suffers because I’m also watching Once Upon a Time, and it’s so easy to compare the two. I think really, Grimm would be better compared to a show like Castle.

Not True! The Captain is great!

Wife and I watched Grimm religiously until the season end. It definitely builds momentum as you go along. I’ll agree it’s very Stargate in its stand-alone formulaic episodes, but like Stargate all the strands of story start being woven together, especially in season 2. I’d definitely recommend it.

This.
