As part of our marketing at Armageddon, NZLARPS will be re-running Flight of the Hindenburg, the kapCon 2007 larp:

Its been a week, and we’ve got 19 signups so far. Obviously we’d like more, so if you haven’t signed up yet, please do so here.

We plan to cast this game on the weekend of June 7, after recruitment at Armageddon. At that stage we will make a decision about which version of the game to run: the cut-down 40-player version, or the full 66-player one. Signing up now will help give us the certainty to run the bigger version.

We’ve confirmed the venue, and I’m currently reformatting the characters and tweaking them. There may be new plots added, if they fit easily and go with the existing themes of the game.

NZLARPS will be at Armageddon over the long weekend, working hard to recruit more players. After armageddon, we’ll do a final push for
signups, make a decision on game size, and start casting on the weekend of the 7th. You may still be able to signup after that point - it will
depend on the size of game we run - but you shouldn’t rely on it. So if you want to be sure of a spot, please sign up ASAP.

Preliminary casting has been done. To protect privacy, its available only to the players.

We still have 19 spots left, mostly males (though I’ll happily genderswap characters. “Sky Captain” is no more a guy’s name than “Indiana”). The website has a list of vacancies. If you’d like one, then please click the signup link above.

Would anyone be willing to give me a ride to the venue?

I’ll be staying at my sister’s place in Wellington. Am very happy to contribute petrol money and/or cookies in exchange for the trouble.
