I’ve had a room come up in my flat.
If you haven’t been to my place before, it’s a big ex-office building in Freemans Bay (city-side of Ponsonby). The rooms are large (this one is especially large) with big windows and plenty of light. We’re a stone’s throw from a Link bus stop and a supermarket.
The rent is $160/week including all bills (broadband, phone, power, water etc).
We have a space-ship simulator upstairs that doubles as a cinema and triples as a creative space. Aside from that, we have everything a good flat needs - reliable whiteware, wired/wireless networking, great security and walls we can paint.
