We hired some props from First Scene for “A Town Called Refuge” last Saturday, and spent some time talking to the staff about who we are and what we do. On Tuesday morning, I got a call from First Scene, telling me that they had bought a whole swag of stuff from Legend of the Seeker and there was a whole big bag of banners that’s no use to them, would our society like them instead? Yes, yes we would. So they very kindly donated about a dozen really nicely sew woollen banners to us for free. They even apologised that they hadn’t been properly pressed.
Between this, and how helpful they were when we were hiring stuff for Refuge, First Scene’s customer service gets top marks from nzLARPS
