Um… so what exactly is happening? We just turn up in costumes and wonder around, or something specific is going to happen?
MOTAT sent me this earlier today.
They have also informed me that the Steam Trains will be running as will the Steam Engine, Beam Engine and Trams.
Hmmm… time to retrim Mrs Lovett’s dress from Masquerade, methinks.

Weather and driver avalibility permiting there will be a three historic condition trams running the day of the event rather than one of the regular fleet…if were realy lucky, it may be 47 (The “NEW” big red opentop double decker one with polished brass fittings)

Whats happening with the larp?
It would seem that due to logistics issues the LARP has been put on hold. Not exactly sure on the full details myself.
The MOTAT website now says larp workshops rather than larp.

Right, so I have now consulted The Schedule, and it appears I can be there between 12 & 4pm.
I’m
a) very happy to wander around in costume and tell people about larp, events of the day, and generally stay in-character for the amusement of the attending public.
b) very happy to help out at these “LARP workshops” … although some further detail as to their timing and nature might be handy.
So, who else is coming?

Could you please let us know how many people you need for each role and what times you’d like them to be present?
People may be assuming you have plenty of help and it would be great to know exactly where the gaps are (if there are any) 
We have a stand to man from 10am-5pm. It would probably be nice to have at least two people at the stand at all times just so no one gets stuck alone. Though we won’t chase away extra people, having a bustling stand is always nice. And since there are lots of cool things to see, it would be nice if no one got stuck there for more than two hours in a row. I guess if people volunteer for two hour shifts, I can put together a roster and see where the gaps are.
Currently, my confirmed volunteers are Lucy, Gaffy, Ignifluous and Raoul (and Lucretia) I’ve sent PMs to everyone who has expressed interest previously.

That was an awesome day at MOTAT, I’ve never seen it that busy before.
Kudos to all the non-lazy people who dressed up and the organisers, judges etc…
