Does NZLarps want to be involved with BattleCry 2008?

Hi folks,

I think I asked for this idea to be included in one of the committee meetings a while back but I wasn’t able to attend. And I sent a couple of emails but haven’t had any replies so I thought I’d try here.

Basically I would like to extend an invitation to NZLarps to attend and be included in BattleCry. It is running over the weekend of the 8, 9, 10 Feb 2008 at Freeman’s Bay Community Hall.

This could be in a number of ways and the choice is up to you if you do want to be included. My offers of ways you might like to consider include:

  1. We offer putting up posters of NZLarp events at the venue for people to see over the weekend and have flyers to take away.

  2. We offer space in our free door loot bags to have NZLarp flyers included. We are making up 200 bags, and would need any flyers you want to include before the end of Jan 2008.

  3. We offer stall space if NZLarp wanted to have a presence at the venue over the weekend.

  4. We offer hall space, advertising and support if someone from NZLarps wanted to run an afternoon larp as part of BattleCry. Space is becoming limited so we would need to know if someone wanted to do this asap. There are several parks nearby if something outdoors was wanted as well.

I’d like to ask if these ideas could be included in your next meeting please. I won’t be able to attend the meeting. Wed nights is also an America night and medieval Guild night which kinda mucks me up attending, sorry.
