28th July 2005 meeting resloved to form NZLarp Society. Incorporation was finalised 23 February 2006.

The best place for this is probably in the private “Website maintenance” forum, which as a committee member you can see in the NZLARPS section of Diatribe (below the committee forums).

I’ve moved it there now, and see if I can contribute to the missing bits before we publish it.

I have no idea how long Jared has been on the Auckland committee, I’ve been on the Wellington one 2011 and 2012

Matt, I was just trolling through the NZLarps minutes of AGMs, not meant to be dissing the provinces. :wink: From what I could see Jared & Matt technically aren’t committee members, and voted in at AGM. But happy to list you as Hamilton/Dunedin Representative. Is that the correct word?
BTW what’s Rhiannons surname anyone?
Ryan do you want your name against 2011 IT officer too?

Jared is Regional Representative for Hamilton. Matt is Regional Representative for Dunedin. We should be able to dig up the dates they were appointed.

Regional Representatives are appointed by the National Committee in places where a regional branch doesn’t exist yet. Being a regional representative is not that same as being on a committee. If our regional reps would like to have a vote on a regional committee, they can run for a position on their local committee.

Hamilton is currently in the area of the Auckland branch region, Dunedin is currently part of the Wellington branch region. So Jared could run for the Auckland committee, Matt could run for the Wellington - and either of them could run for the National committee.

Or they could start a new branch of NZLARPS in their city. Seriously, that would be awesome! :slight_smile: Matt - it wouldn’t have to be just Dunedin, it could be called the “South” branch and be inclusive of larp in Christchurch, Nelson, etc.

The IT Officer role in 2011 was vacant, nobody ran or was elected.

I have added Jared as Hamilton Regional officer, from 2011 & 2012 as it is likely they were appointed at the same time as Matt Swain by National Committee. And there is no mention of it in 2010

You changed the name Ryan. Any particular reason?
Part of the title I chose “Current & Past Committee Members” was so that people wanting to know who is the current committee member have an clear and obvious place to look.
I envisioned this topic being updated each year after the AGM

I thought seeing it also covers constitutional amendments, regional representatives and the founding meeting that a general title would be more appropriate. I was envisioning it being kept up to date too, though.

Happy to change it to “Current & Past Committee Members” if you prefer.
