I thought I’d better check the forums to see what was happening, and yes I do exist…
I didnt get around to doing much at Battlecry this year, it was my year off. Yeah I know, slack; didnt even get down to Kapcon.
No ‘3 Couples’ as of yet Cameron, but I may be inspired after we run the first two again. We did do some planning for a ‘Couples Larp’, last year, but it didnt acquire the action potential.
I’ll keep an eye on this thread, for easier organistion of the games. Looking forwards to dipping my toes in the water.

YAY getting you into the NZLARPs mix would be a huge boost IMHO… and as for the “Couples Weekend” idea I’m sure that after people play the couples games there will be demand for it again
Wow, given what I’ve heard about the first two games - if you could make a whole weekend game that would be amazing.
Now taking suggestions for centrally located venue that is priced free to cheap, and has at least two rooms.
I’m very seriously thinking of having this run late June/early July. And I mean it this time.
Venue found. Tony is still keen.
Watch this space…
So are we seeing any action on this? I just don’t want it to be while I’m away or desperately doing assignments etc
I have a venue, I’m just wainting on Tony to okay the days.
Oh man, so close to getting this sorted.
Right. Tony has okayed the dates, I am just now confirming these with the venue. As soon as I get the word back from them, the details will go up.
Since places are strictly limited - 3 males, 3 females each game - places will be offered first to the people who expressed interest in this thread. The remaining places will then be made available here.
All the places will have to be filled in order for the games to run.
Let me know if a space has not been taken I want it.
Couples: Rerun
Ladies and gentlemen, this event is booked and confirmed, and with still places available. Both events will run at Dunkirk Road Activity Centre (50 Dunkirk Ave, Panmure)
The cost is $10 for nzLARPS members and $15 for non-nzLARPS members. This is to cover venue cost.

The first of these two games will run next week, and we are still in need of a female player.
The first event is on tomorrow night, right?
Yep. I sent out an email last night about it but now that I think about it, your Mordavia email address may not be your current one…
Looking forward to this guys - see you at 7.
We’ve had a female player drop out last minute for tonight’s game and we really need a one more to make up the full six.
Is there any female out there who would like to play a great larp game tonight?
Or, alternately, a male who wouldn’t mind RPing a female
And we’re full again.
I had an excellent time. Thank you, Tony, for volunteering your time for this.
Yeah, that was out-there. Good work everyone.
I’ll third that (since I’m too late to second it). I feel I should apologise for not delving into other character’s secrets as much as I could have, but then I think we emphaticaly ascertained Katrina is too selfish to notice them… Thanks for the opportunity to get a happy ending, well happier for her anyway. It’s probably good Tony ended where he did, the last comment could well have led to violence, or at least a slap on the face to Penny. Thanks especially to Anna and Craig for the characters that gave me such intense highs and lows which took the game to the highest level. Look forward to playing with you all again soon. Now I just need to stop thinking about it so I can get back to work !
