Corflute Workshop - Sunday 20th Sept

OK, I’ve got a stack of corflute from the last two Green party election campaigns.

I’m going to make some stuff out of corflute on Sunday 20th, and if you’d like to make something (e.g. a shield), then feel free to come along. Bring a gold coin koha to help pay for the glue (no charge for the corflute). I’ll be making some shields for the Granbretanians in Multiverse, so we’ll have some kind of production line happening, and you sheild will be created as part of line.

When: Sunday 20th September

Time: 1pm till 4pm (ish)

Where: 26 Malvern Road, Morningside.

If anyone has a heatgun I can borrow, that would be much appreciated.

Gah - working this weekend which is a pain :frowning:

Zara and I both want a shield made… I might send her along tho

I definately want to be there. I will confirm closer to the date whether I shall be able to or not.

Sounds good!

I will be there to help out

I’ll see if I can get there. By heatgun to you mean hot glue gun?

if its for moulding corflute then no, its sort of like an industrial strength “hair dryer” i often use mine for shaping plastic,& foam sheet (and stripping paint from large thick surfaces).

David is spot on. Haven’t tried moulding corflute with one though. David, have you done this ? If so, any tips greatly appreciated

Did this happen? The day came and went and it completely slipped my mind.

Indeed it has, got a few shield basis cut out and glued
