I flipped through a hipster-magazine while getting my hair done yesterday called : Coilhouse. It’s “A love letter to alternative culture” and it’s filled with some beautiful stuff ranging from high fashion to burlesque to an interview with Neil Gaiman and a fantastic 3 page except from Will Wheaton about how he discovered RPing.
There are gorgeous costumes in here and some great inspiration for makeup and hairstyles.
But mostly I’m thrilled that geek hobbies are being included amongst other “alternative cultures” that wouldn’t be classified as geek. I think that’s awesome. Also awesome, this headdress (featured in the magazine) - which I want to build someday:
