Howdy, pardners! We’re pleased as punch to invite you to Consequence - Thunderstruck, The 3rd episode of the Consequence LARP campaign. The game will take place Friday 7 February - Sunday 9 February 2025 at Brookfield Outdoor Education Centre, Wainuiomata, Wellington.

It’s late June, 1870. The Rift has been closed for almost 8 months now, but at least there’s a method of communicating with folks Stateside. Despite the many unforeseen dangers, some newcomers have started putting down roots in the divided town of Consequence, while others seem more interested in meddling with unfathomable forces. But in general, folks are rallying together, and many friendships have developed as people continue to explore and understand life on this side of the Rift. Will those friendships be tested if and when an attempt to reopen the Rift succeeds?
(Time’s a funny thing in Consequence sometimes. While it may feel like years have passed, only about 6 months have passed since the last game.)
Tickets go on sale Friday 26 July 2024 at 7pm through Eventbrite. There are 44 player spaces and 25 crew spaces available.
Returning players are given priority when purchasing a player ticket. If all player spaces fill a waitlist will be created. First priority on waitlist spots will be given to folks who crewed in games 1 and 2 in appreciation for their hard work.
This is the last game where we’ll be accepting any new player characters to make sure we can provide an extra-meaningful game for folks who attend games 4 and 5.
Crew are always welcome, whether it’s your first time LARPing, or you’re a seasoned veteran. We have plenty of enticing roles and experiences for you to enjoy.
A note about ticket prices: Unfortunately, due to some significant increase in operating expenses, most notably the venue, we’ve had to raise ticket prices a fair bit from the last event’s price. This decision was not made lightly, but with the venue almost doubling in price we were left with no choice if we wanted to run the event. Ticket prices are:
- Player full price $195.00
- Player discounted $185.00 (NZLARPS member discount)
- Crew full price $85.00
- Crew discounted $75.00 (NZLARPS member discount)
These prices are inclusive of Eventbrite fees (so this is the total you will pay).
We hope folks appreciate that this is still great value for money, given it includes catering, accommodation, and a weekend of weird west hijinks and adventure!
