I play in the North Shore Youth Symphonic Wind Band and as part of our fundraising and preparation before we head to Wellington for the New Zealand Concert Band Festival we are putting on a concert.
The programme will feature our serious festival section pieces and the more light hearted entertainment programme with such goodies as a medley of Lion King songs. There will also be some solo items and small ensembles performing.
When: Saturday August 2nd, 7-9 with supper afterwards
Where: St John’s Church, Church St, Northcote
Cost: $5 per person, $10 for a family
