What’s the difference in the two styles. I guess standard is self-explanatory, but what’s the baby-doll styling?

Shorter sleeves and tighter - its a female, curve hugging cut t-shirt.

Yes, except they’re not midriff baring. Another way of describing them is ‘fitted’ rather than ‘shapeless’.
