We are pleased to announce the fifth annual Chimera Larp Convention is booked in for the weekend of 24th-26th August 2012 at Motu Moana Scout Camp. As usual, we are aiming to be bigger and better than ever, and we hope you’ll all be a part of it
Barring being hit by a bus, or eaten alive by hungry cats, I’ll be there.

Neither rain nor snow nor Glom of Nit will stop me from being there.
I’ll be so there! Will start making new costumes right now… oh wait… when is the list of the games going to be available?
Why is that while I’m still getting over last weekend I’m already looking forward to next years Chimera?
Probably the same reason I’m collapsed in bed, revoltingly ill, still recovering from running this one and I’m starting to organise the next one…
I’ll be there. Probably run a game or two. Huzzah! Also Anna, you have no san score!
Hi Anna - if I am around (and who the hell knows what they are doing a year in advance) I was thinking last Sunday that I would like to come to Chimera 2012, but would also like to volunteer my services in any way that is useful to you in the lead up or over the weekend to take on some administrative type stuff or some of the running around or checking on things. I like that sort of thing and from what I could see, if more volunteers manned the lolly desk or did some of the shifts of dorm or toilet checking then a) less onerous for you individually and b) you and Rowena might get to squeeze more larping in. There are plenty of games for everyone to get a couple in each day and taking a few shifts over the weekend to restock toilet paper and laminate stuff and so on won’t worry me.
I have been involved with volunteer run big events a few times and it is hard work if too much ends up on shoulders of one or two people. A bit of a roster doesn’t hurt
Happy to help - if I am in the country next August!
Tanya
So gutted I won’t be in the country for this, but that would be the only reason I would miss it!
I’m not mad Prema, just disappointed.

Thanks Tanya - I’ll keep that in mind. I’m definitely going to move to a roster system for the front desk next year, and possibly for kitchen hands also. It used be small enough that one or two people could manage it, but, uh, no more.
I’ll be there. Not even a pack of rabid direwolves could keep me away (I have exploding things if they try).
Ahhh, but could a vorpal bunny?
When do GM’s find out their players (cast and crew)?
I have chosen my games, when do I find out which games I am in?
Once you make your game selection, your form will be manually processed by a real live person. It takes about two weeks to finalise game rosters after the initial wave of game selections. Therefore, please allow at least two weeks to be sent your game confirmation email.
I just got my character and game intros for “Happily ever after?” and they are Totally Awesome!
Really pumped for the big flagship game now.
I got mine too, and I cannot even expressed in words how much I am awesomed away, because as soon as I try to put it in words, I lose it and start jumping around my room, squeaking happily (and non-verbally).
Soooooooo looking forward!
To the other scions of the Pig family, greetings. (I’m pretty chuffed with Marcelle.)
And I will HUFF and I will PUFF and I WILL BLOW YOUR HOUSE DOWN! For I AM the ultimate PREDATOR!!!
