I can’t find any photo’s of my first Larp, here’s the earliest one I can find from the Gathering a UK fest, from sometime in the mid 90’s.

Though I had played Vampire here and there since 1999, Chimera 08 was the first time I was photographed larping (thank you Judit).
Tigger looks entirely too happy to be drawing blood from the admiral’s daughter, while her chaperone - I mean bodyguard - looks on.
… and I just realized I’m still using a photo from that larp as my avatar. facepalm
Bumping because I found an older picture where obviously I’m playing some kind of 80’s Glam Rock Elemental! From my first ‘The Gathering’ in the UK in 1990/1 I think.

I still have the hood and wig which were both used recently, sadly the fringed suede jacket never made it to NZ…
This was my first game, only three years ago now, but it sounds more impressive if I say ‘nearly sixty games ago’, so let’s go with that.

I don’t suppose anyone has a photo of me at Mordavia lying around? I think my first game was Reckonings (was that the one where most of the players died at the end of the game?), and the Mordavia website archives only have photos up until the game before that.

Ah, the LARP where I used house paint to colour my hair! I’m faintly surprised there were no ill-effects from that…
Technically had two costumes for that Larp. No pictures of the second one though.
I remember looking for this photo when I saw this thread, and I found it so I thought i would post it. This is from the first Multiverse weekend game and my first larp ever. It was also such an awesome moment, really got me hooked.
Not my first larp, which was the inaugural LARPHS (now called Skirmish) game out at Karekare in 1995. I don’t think anyone had a camera.
Here is my pic from the first Mordavia I attended - The Land’s Need back in 2003. Checkout the length of that longsword ! Back then longswords could be up to 140cm
This is from my second larp, Mordavia - Solstice, in 2005. My first was the day game Death of a Merchant, but there are no photos of me from that one. I’m second from the left:
Of course, you can’t see my face. There are also two photos from Reckonings that I’m in, but I’m face-down on the field as the battle rages.
The first photo I could find where you can actually see my face is much further along, from Wolfgang - Seven Falls, as a corrupt Cardinal (I think we all were though).

is my favorite from shortly I really got into the hobby. An actuary with a sword.
Your eyebrows have gotten a little less… eyebrow-y since then.
Really, are they thinning as well?
