Cerberus 2019 is cancelled

Due to a combination of factors, Cerberus Larp Convention will NOT be running this year.

The earlier date, combined with extremely low player sign ups, and two GM’s having to pull out of the convention after games had been posted meant that the convention was not viable.

All that aside however, I think it could have happened if we had started pushing a lot earlier than we did, so I’m going to put my hand up and say that we (the organising committee) and especially I (as head of that committee) have failed in providing enough lead in time to generate the necessary interest. We plan to do better next year.

Thanks to the GM’s that offered to run games, and especially to those who were going to run more than one game, and to the players that did register.

Thanks for the effort you and the organising team put into this. It is a pity it didn’t work out, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. As you say, there’s always next year

I’m really sorry that’s how it worked out, I had such a lovely time last year.

All the best for Cerberus 2020.
