I received the following email, requesting extras for a movie about Kate Sheppard (she’s the one on our $10 note). I’ve let Catherine know that Dec 2-4 is already spoken for.
Hello,
My name is Catherine Bennetto and I am working on a drama documentary for Eyeworks Productions.
The Production is about the fight to get Women the vote by Kate Sheppard in the 1890’s.
We are looking for background extras to be part of a ‘Meeting Room/Debate’ scene and was wondering if you had anybody that would be interested in being part of this great piece of New Zealand history?
It would be quite a fun day as there is going to be a lively debate happening in a cute old Hall in Howick Historical Village. People interested would receive a small fee and a lovely catered lunch. They would be fitted in period costumes.
The Location is out in Howick Historical Village but I can not confirm a date yet. We begin shooting on November 20th and finish on December 16th so the date could be anywhere between those dates.
If you have anybody who you think would like to be part of a film set for a day please let me know.
I can be contacted on [ch_bennetto@hotmail.com] or on 415 4161 or 0226 209 290.
Kind regards
Catherine Bennetto
