Book of Knudepunkt 2007

The Nordic larp convention Knudepunkt 2007 has been, and each year they publish a book with contributions form the attendees.

If you’re interested in reading opinions about larp, check it out:

I haven’t read it yet, but previous books have contained interesting nuggets.

What can we expect to find in here…?

too lazy/busy to dive right in

Articles of theory and practice of larp. Some waffley, some insightful. Some useful suggestions for techniques, some pointless diatribes. Apparently at the end of this book there is a set of contributions from non-larper academics commenting on the larp “phenomenon”, which is a new thing.

One good approach is to jump from article to article until one catches your interest, and just read those. Life is too short for reading all 200+ pages of stuff of variable quality.

That looks really interesting. Thanks for posting it, Ryan.

That’s the kind of thing I’m hoping some people will write for Immersion as well.

You could get in touch with the writers and use it as Immersion filler for the rest of the year!
