Boffo's Birthday Bash

If it was tongue in cheek, I’d expected it to have a  smilie attached to it. As it is, I read it as trolling. I bit.

The comment certainly wasn’t planned to get a rise out of anyone and as Ants said, was supposed to be somewhat tongue in cheek. I’m sorry to have caused offense and that you felt the need to make it personal. :frowning:

Context is great. The first time I looked at this bit, I was wondering why Jon was so annoyed about men wearing tail coats.

It is noticeable that some games seem more popular with women than men, though. Or is that partly because of the overall Wellington larp gender ratio? Anyone got stats on how many of which gender came to Hydra to use as a proxy?

“Apology accepted, Captain Needa…”

No worries Nick, not sure why it got such a rise out of me.

29 out of 57 participants were women, according to the registration database. So, a 50% ratio among diehards in the community.

Thanks Donna for a really great, fun game.

Also a special thank you to all the drones for their help over the evening!

I must say that there was a high level of engagement in this game

Thanks to all the players, especially Svend for stepping in at the last minute (and for his awesome valet skills)

Thanks Donna!

Lots of high jinxes and ridiculous plans

The Drones are well known for their rediculous plans

Thanks Donna. Was much fun

Hannah’s photos are now up on FaceSpy.

And this one of the drones in action is surely one for the club wall:
