So, I’ve just returned from the National Sci-fi Con, and got along to a few of the panels there… and have decided that what Battlecry needs is some panels. Of course, the panels at a sci-fi con aren’t quite the same ones as the sorts of panels that would interest a gaming con, so figured I would put it to the various groups and see what they would like panels and workshops on…
Panels are discussion groups with three or so speakers leading a discussion around a topic, who have a little bit of experience on the subject.
Workshops tend to be a bit more hands-on with 1-2 people instructing people on a topic, possibly with some form of output at the end.
Both need to be an hour in length.
There are two sides to panels as I can see… there needs to be a demand for people to want to discuss a topic for an hour.
There also needs to be people who are willing to talk about a topic for an hour, and lead the conversation.
I am curious as to what people would be interested in attending for LARP panels, and who would be interested in leading these panels…
some suggested panels to me, and other panel ideas have been
